Job Overview:
We are seeking an individual to become a valued member of our Tech Department, contributing their frontend development skills and problem-solving ability to build and enhance the web applications our users rely on every day. As a Junior Software Engineer (Frontend), you will play a key role in developing responsive, pixel-accurate interfaces using Next.js, React, and TypeScript, and in integrating them with our backend systems to support our product goals and user experience initiatives.
Primary Responsibilities:
⚪ Develop and maintain scalable web applications using Next.js, React.js, and TypeScript.
⚪ Build reusable, responsive UI components with Tailwind CSS.
⚪ Translate UI/UX designs into accurate, pixel-conscious interfaces.
⚪ Integrate REST APIs and handle loading, error, and empty states cleanly.
⚪ Debug frontend issues and optimize for performance and usability.
⚪ Use AI-assisted development tools to work faster without compromising code quality.
⚪ Collaborate with backend, design, and QA teams to ship features on schedule.
⚪ Follow Git/GitHub workflows and participate in code reviews.
Key Requirements:
⚪ 0–1 year of frontend experience; strong fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
⚪ Solid working knowledge of Next.js, React.js, and TypeScript.
⚪ Proficiency in Tailwind CSS and responsive web development.
⚪ Good grasp of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and browser fundamentals.
⚪ Ability to read UI/UX designs — layout, spacing, typography, consistency — and reproduce them faithfully.
⚪ Practical experience with REST API integration, authentication, and asynchronous operations.
⚪ Analytical mindset: able to break down complex problems and research unfamiliar issues independently through documentation, debugging, and experimentation.
⚪ Comfortable using AI tools for coding, debugging, code analysis, and research.
⚪ Familiarity with Git and GitHub workflows.
⚪ Understanding of core engineering principles.
⚪ Bachelor’s degree in CSE or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Nice to Have:
⚪ Exposure to WebSockets and real-time data handling (events, connection states, reconnection).
⚪ Basic understanding of caching and Redis.
⚪ Basic understanding of PostgreSQL or other relational/NoSQL databases.
⚪ Experience writing tests.
