Job Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented SQA Engineer to join our team. This role is ideal for recent graduates or those with 0-1 years of experience who possess a strong foundation in logic, problem-solving and a keen interest in quality assurance and test automation. You will be instrumental in ensuring the quality of our global FinTech SaaS platform, learning from experienced engineers, and contributing to our quality culture from day one.
Primary Responsibilities:
⚪ Test Execution: Execute various types of application testing, including functional, system, regression, and exploratory testing, to identify and report defects, bugs and configuration issues.
⚪ Requirement Analysis: Work with senior team members to analyze business requirements and technical specifications, helping to convert them into clear, detailed test cases and test documents.
⚪ Defect Management: Accurately document, track, and manage defects through their lifecycle, collaborating with developers to ensure timely resolution.
⚪ Test Automation Support: Assist in the development and maintenance of automated test scripts for UI and API testing, primarily using existing frameworks.
⚪ Documentation: Contribute to the maintenance of QA documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
⚪ Collaboration: Actively participate in team meetings, providing clear and concise updates on testing progress and identified risks.
⚪ Continuous Learning: Keenly learn new tools, technologies, and QA methodologies, implementing them in daily activities under guidance.
Key Requirements:
⚪0 to 1 year of experience in software quality assurance or a related field.
⚪ Freshers with a strong background in competitive programming are highly encouraged to apply.
⚪ B.Sc. in Computer Science/Engineering or an equivalent technical degree.
⚪ Excellent skills in analyzing and solving complex, multi-step problems, demonstrating an investigative attitude while testing.
⚪ Foundational knowledge of at least one programming language (e.g., C++, Python, or Java), which is essential for test automation.
⚪ Solid understanding of QA methodologies, testing types, and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
⚪ Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., MSSQL, MySQL) and the ability to write basic SQL queries.
⚪ Must be familiar with working with one source control system (e.g., Git).
